Marcus Visionary has been a full time dj, producer and promoter for well over a decade.
In the early 90's Marcus was part of the Non Chalant soundsystem which championed the sounds of Hip Hop, Rnb, Reggae and early house. Since 1992 Marcus Visionary has been a dj and promoter in the Toronto jungle scene and is responsible for creating early Delirium and Junglist Movement events. He currently co runs Theory with partners Jose Rodriguez and Matt Patry (Dj Tasc) which is housed at Toronto's famous Guvernment Nightclub Complex. Marcus is also the resident dj for Theory events which has afforded him the opportunity of playing with all of the top artists in the business.
His Prophecy radio show is North America's longest running Jungle Drum and Bass radio program. This year he celebrates 12 years with partner dj Prime. You can catch the Prophecy every Sunday night from 8-10 p.m E.S.T on 89.5 F.M or www.ciut.fm.

In 2005 the duo set up two labels via Load Media in the U.K; Dance Rock and Lion Dubs. They were also fortunate enough to be noticed by Shy FX and T Power and picked up as resident artists for the new Digital Soundboy label. Check out the website at www.digitalsoundboy.com. Since then they've had three releases on the label with the latest being 'Give Me Your Love' and 'Jungle Rock' which features one of their resident vocalists Peter Ranking. With the support of Shy FX and T Power Visionary are now full time studio headz focussing on creating a unique dancefloor friendly sound.
In the last decade Visionary have also been featured on many premiere labels including: Play:musik, 31 Records, Revolve:r, Trouble on Vinyl, Horizon Music, X tinction Agenda, Shout, Flex Records, Hustlin Beats, On Point, Nice and Smoothe and of course Digital Soundboy, Dance Rock and Lion Dubs!

The Visionary sound is a fusion of dub, reggae, techno, soul, and early jungle with strict attention paid to melody and sub bass. In the last two years Visionary have managed to contribute a fresh new sound to the Drum and Bass world and it seems that there is no stopping this dynamic duo anytime soon. R.A.W. is infamous for taking out opponents when it comes to dj battles but one battle in particular that stands out was the 'West L.A. Music Battle' judged by DJ QUIK! Reason being, he was one of the first Dj's in the U.S. to win a DJ battle spinning drum n bass.
Although a pioneer in the underground scene the main stream continues to sleep on one of the true pioneers in the game. But trust, it won't be long before R.A.W. becomes a household name regardless of what mainstream attention he garners in the years to come.
